3rd Upminster (Livingston)
Just a note to let you know what we will be doing at Beavers for
the next term.
18th Sept 06 (at hall) Origami night - Making paper animals and
airplanes. See whose plane can fly the furthest.
25th Sept 06 (at hall) Team games night - Pit your wits against
the other teams in some fun games.
2nd Oct 06 (at hall) Decorate a biscuit night - decorate biscuits
using coloured icing and sweets. (Please advise us if your child
has any allergies).
8th Oct 06 CHURCH PARADE (please bring your children to the church
hall for 10.15am).
9th Oct 06 (at hall) Parachute games - playing lots of fun games
with our large parachute.
16th Oct 06 (Away from Hall)Trip to Thames Chase Forest Centre in
Pike Lane - take a walk through the woods to collect suitable materials
for an Arts and Crafts session with a woody theme (there will be
a small charge of £2.50 per beaver).
HALF TERM
6th Nov 06 (at hall) Games Night - get back together after our
two week break, catch up with your friends and play some fun games.
12th Nov 06 CHURCH PARADE (please bring your children to the church
hall for 10.15am).
13th Nov 06 (at hall) Remote control night - bring along a remote
control toy for races and obstacle courses.
20th Nov 06 (at hall) Build a robot - bring along old boxes, cartons
and bottles and lets see how big we can build a robot.
27th Nov 06 (at hall) Games night - Play all the games you love
to play.
4th Dec 06 (at hall) Making Christmas cards and decorations - Lets
get creative and give mums and dads a lovely home made card for
Christmas.
10th Dec 06 CHURCH PARADE (please bring your children along to
the church hall for 10.15am).
11th Dec 06 (at hall) Our last Beavers before Christmas - so lets
party, fun and games, party food and maybe even Father Christmas
may turn up.
CHURCH PARADE is the second Sunday in the month 10.15am in the
hall. Please make every effort to attend.
Notes:
• Subs are £29 per term and payment can be by cheque
made payable to 3rd Upminster Scout Group or you can sign up for
direct debit payment which means yours subs will automatically come
out of your bank account on the 1st October, 1st February and the
1st June. We would very much like you to sign up for Direct Debit
as this will cut down on a lot of paper work for all the volunteer
leaders. (Direct Debit form attached)
• If you have any ideas or events that you think will be good
for our Beavers please let me know.
• Don’t forget to sign up to our Parent Rota for helping
on a Monday night.
