Livingstone cubs meet at the Trinity URC Church, Station Road,
Upminster on a Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Our evenings are usually based around a central activity, with
games generally at the start and finish. As leaders we believe that
Cubs should be about supporting children to become independent and
free thinking adults. We like therefore to take time to listen to
the Cubs, and to encourage them to have a say in how the pack is
run and the activities we provide.
We also believe that Cubs should contribute to the world around
them. We did for many years take part in the Operation Christmas
charity and last term we ran a recycling project to encourage the
pack to think about the reasons why we recycle.
The main ingredients are though fun and enjoyment. We like to think
that all those who attend enjoy themselves and that it is this that
encourages them to return.
We do currently have a few places for boys, and girls, between
the ages of 8 and 10 1/2. If you would like your child to come to
cubs please mailto: secretary@3rdUpminsterScouts.org.uk.
